Disadvantages:
-Typing: Weak to all forms of entry hazards, Stealth Rock being the most dangerous one. Weakness to Water, Ground and Rock which are all pretty common in all tiers of competitive play.
-Stats: OH DEAR ARCEUS why are all my other stats decent except the most important one (SPEED)? Also I could use some more defense because despite all the fluff being there to soften the hits, I still cannot take a hit on the defensive side.
-Movepool: I got a massive 130 base attack. Y NO FLARE BLITZ? I cry sugary tears when I think about all the other fire types who got it despite not even having an attack stat as marvelous as mine. Also my movepool sucks pretty much in every other aspect as well.
-Impression: Many MANY people belittle poor old me because of everything said above. Despite being a loved(?) fluffball from the very first generation, at least in the competitive community the species of Flareon is very looked down on. Don’t we deserve a little more love?
