The guys/gals I have so far:
Torchic f “Amber”, Naughty nature
Poochyena f “Mandy”, Timid nature
Such delightful things happened as Mandy KO’ing a Wingull and a Lotad with critical hits when I wanted to catch them. So we reached Petalburg city with 2 Pokemon. Met with dad and talked to the whiny-Wally and watched him catch a Ralts, oh the joy. After all the plot advancing stuff we head to route 104 in hopes of a new Pokemon. And we were in serious luck: A Marill! A female Marill to whom Mandy’s ah-so-aggressive Tackles didn’t do too much at all. Luckily this time no critical (s)hits were scored and we were able to catch that little round mouse!
Marill f “Hallie”, Docile nature, joined the team.
I had a feeling we’d be dealing with some pretty Huge Powers now but it turns out that lil Hallie was a bit FAT. Dat Thick Fat. Oh well. She shall be under special training and hopefully that FAT will lessen someday.
After some grinding we headed to Petalburg woods. Shroomish sounded pretty delicous in my thoughts. And what do we find?
SLAKOTH f “Bertha”, Gentle nature.
She is quite the truant. Despite being a bit slow, her training went pretty well. Amber leading in levels (13) and everybody else being lv 9 we faced a mean Team Aqua grunt who wanted some goods from the guy who loved Shrooms. Bertha had the honor of slaughtering the grunt’s Poochyena. Beating all the trainers in the woods and in the upper route 104 were pretty good for training.
After reaching Rustboro city we headed right towards route 116 (up and right from Rustboro) to find a new Pokemon, preferably the cutest of them all, a rare Skitty. But as one could expect, that did not indeed happen. The first Pokemon we encountered was an ABRA. That left us only one chance. Throw a Great ball at it. It did not stay and it teleported away. AJHFOÖkDOKDLIOJDSVYFKUSIHL.
After the painful experience of not getting an Abra we headed straight to Rusturf Tunnel and woop woop caught us a new Pokemon. The first guy of the bunch.
Whismur m “Cain”, Mild nature.
Everyday I’m grindin’~
Hallie beasted through the gym trainers with Water Gun and learned Rollout. Amber evolved into a Combusken after saving Bertha from a blood thirsty Skitty. Hallie plows through the gym leaders Pokemon even with her “Constant Potion” action. (Do you get the reference?) So we earned our first badge. The Shroom guy had some goods stolen so automatically we are obliged to help him get them back. So we went and also found out that they kept hostage a Peeko called Wingull. So obv we trashed the Aqua grunt with our sloth. Old chap called Briney got his Peeko back and he told us to ride his boat sometime. The president of the Devon company bribed us with a Pokenav (useless) so that we’d deliver a letter to Steven. What a rip off.
